Nino Solari started his pizza shop 27 years ago after completing a successful professional cycling career. He quickly developed a reputation for providing a dining experience as well as one of the best pizzas in the state.

Retiring just a few years ago, the business has passed into the hands of Simon and Kirsten Pitman who have developed and grown the business into a Victor Harbor icon with an enviable reputation for quality café dining and impeccable service.

Situated in the original bank building, at the end of the main street in Albert Place, Nino’s is right at the heart of the atmosphere.

Just a short stroll to the horse drawn tram and Granite Island and across the road from the town reserve, Ninos is a favorite of the annual holiday makers in January and is a regular Friday night gathering point for many locals.


It is a great vantage point for the annual Victor Harbor leg of the Tour Down Under and the Victor Harbor Art Show is right next door every year. The balcony provides views of the reserve, main street and Granite Island and causeway
.
This year, Ninos will provide catering for groups up to 100 people, having three areas suitable for private functions.
Upstairs rooms which are perfect for birthdays, sporting groups or business presentations, the balcony which will hold 40 people and has great views and free use of a pool table and CD player or even hire out the whole café for a casual reception for weddings, birthdays or engagements.
